Those of the House of Bathori are, in actuality, part of a dual Bloodline forged
from a union of both the Draculesti and the progeny of Lilith. In time, this unique
mix of qualities resulted in its own formation. The most famous example known is
Countess Bathori, herself related by blood to the Draculesti line and a daughter
of Lilith. Those of the House of Bathori possess the traits and gifts of both the
House of Lilith and the House of Draculesti. Because of this dual nature, they are
highly unpredictable. They hold all the powers of both Bloodlines, yet have a tendency
to swing back and forth on the scale of creation and destruction. This is actually a
great gift, allowing them a flexibility that confuses those who would oppose them as
well as inspires. They enjoy being feared, yet secretly hold the desire to be loved
in equal measure. Knowing well enough of war and the ways of the world, any Bathori
will tell you it is better to be feared.
The Bathori are passionate patrons and creators of the arts, and yet equally fascinated
with and trained in the strategic ways of war. Just as those of the House of Lilith,
they will at times take in others not of their bloodline (or even race) to claim as
their own, though it is more infrequent. They will destroy and brutalize with much
more ease than those of the Lilith bloodline, due to the way they can see the world
through eyes as cold as a pure Draculesti. Throughout history, those of House Bathori
have been instrumental in protecting and inspiring those who would advance causes they deem worthy.
The Bathori possess a deep sense of justice, but it is a justice molded strictly within
their own parameters. They defend and uphold what suits them, and will do so with all
the ferocity of a Draculesti. This makes them unpredictable and dangerous.
