Named after the Daemonic Mother they are directly descended from, those of the House of Lilith
are the keepers and immortal progenitors of this bloodline. They hold a deep and everlasting
connection to the traits of the Dark Mother. One of the most well-known (although equally most
often misunderstood) gifts those of this bloodline possess is their ability to manipulate desire.
Many of the bloodline feed upon sexual energies, finding that this pure form of raw desire best
aligns with their nature. Those of this house possess a magnetism unlike any other, and their
power to bend the will of others is unquestionably one of their greatest gifts.
In appearance, they can shapeshift into any form they choose. They typically tend to enjoy appearing in forms that provoke desire. Of all the Bloodlines, they will at times take in other supernatural creatures (or, on rare occasion, even a human child) and claim them as their own. They have a deeply nurturing tendency about them, yet it would be a mistake to equate this with any form of mortal “love.” It is more an instinct for creation and perpetuation, which they have inherited from their Dark Mother. They look after their own with fierce protection and will go to any extreme to destroy any creature, natural or otherwise, who would harm one of those they have claimed. They are collectors of all things beautiful and rare. This is most likely related to their tendency to use the energy and essential creative power in desire not only as sustenance but also as something to admire. Great works of art, music, philosophy, poetry, and people and items of rare beauty are things they hold in high regard. Other gifts specifically heightened in this bloodline are a mastery of predation, the astral plane, and the ability to shape dreams. Like many of the Bloodlines, there are also many hidden powers known only to those of this line. In time, each creature who is a part of this line grows and expands in understanding until they one day are themselves a unique reflection of Lilith. To those of Lilith, the world is a place of limitless desire shaped by the will of the strongest. They are as a velvet-gloved hand that will strangle or caress depending on their will and whim. |
