Born into a supernatural race, those of the House of Shadows wander in a realm of uncertainty,
not yet knowing who they truly are. It is here, in this twilight dwelling, that all begin—gathering
Essence until the time comes to step forth into a more formal House. Within these mists, faint
glimpses may stir: a flash of instinct, a whisper of desire, or a pull toward hidden power.
These are the first signs of Bloodline, revealed only through watchful observation and the
magnetism of what one is drawn to.
Choose well, and choose wisely—for even the act of refusing to choose is still a choice, and every path bears its own consequence. To depart the shadows and claim a greater destiny, you must possess 1000 Essence, proof of your strength and survival. Some, however, choose to remain in the House of Shadows. There is strength in numbers, and unity in mystery. To dwell here is to live among those who prefer obscurity, yet their collective might should never be underestimated. The Houses of Lilith and Bathori are known for gathering in the forsaken and the wandering, offering shelter—though often at a cost only dark-souled beings would dare accept. When your Essence is sufficient, seek out the Nocturne Pactstone. Only through its binding power may you forsake the Shadows and take the oath of another House, surrendering to the fate that awaits beyond the veil. |
