Past
Death
Death
Upright
Ending, transformation, rebirth, shedding, threshold, inevitability
The black banner is not malice but mandate: what is finished must return to the river. Masks are buried so faces can breathe. Mourn cleanly and move; the next form is already knocking.
Present
Ace of Pentacles
Ace of Pentacles
Upright
Seed, opportunity, prosperity, health, foundation, material spark
A coin stamped with a living sigil, doorway to tangible gain. A grant, a patron, a plot of fertile ground. Plant with intention; prosperity loves clarity and care.
Future
The Moon
The Moon
Upright
Dream, intuition, illusion, fear, imagination, liminality
The Moon writes sideways; meanings wear masks and tides turn inner. Travel by omen, echo, and animal sense. Accept mystery as method; what cannot be seen may still be navigated.
How the day will go

The Veil is thin enough to read. YenneferAddams Resident wakes inside a pattern that was cut last night.

What was left unfinished under Death does not stay buried. It arrives as Ending, riding fate into the first hours.

The present does not wait for the morning to finish. Ace of Pentacles takes the table, and Seed and opportunity becomes the price of moving. the ledger is the lever.

Future is already leaning in as The Moon. Do not spend the evening replaying the morning. Aim at Dream, or hunger will choose for you.

All three stand upright. The current is cooperative, which is not the same as safe. Cooperative days punish hesitation more than error.

Practical mark: if a House asks for blood or coin, ask what returns before you give either.

When the spread releases you, remember the order: inherit, act, then close. Skip the middle and the night collects twice.
