Abaddon P. Thornveil

Biography

Abaddon P. Thornveil is a mature demon demon that emerged from a fracture in the veil of night where reality briefly weakened and the shadows were able to breathe. Its arrival darkened the air itself, as though light hesitated to remain nearby. By nature it appears affectionate, often displaying a mood best described as restless while remaining ferocious between feedings. It drifts through long periods of stillness, broken only by moments of sudden predatory awareness. Despite its dark nature, it appears to tolerate — and perhaps even respect — the one who sustains it. Sometimes faint whispers can be heard during the moments just before it feeds. It may one day grow into something far greater — or far more dangerous — than it currently appears.

Whisper from the Abyss

The abyss teaches many lessons, but the most important is this: creatures born of darkness respect consistency above all things. If you become predictable in your care, your demon will become predictable in its loyalty.
